The Day was Cold
By James Coffman
The day was so cold that all the cars had frost on the windows. The houses had frost on the roofs. I had to wear my snow boarding cloths. I had two pair of cloths on. I had wear a biney to cover my ears. I had to wear snow boots to ealk through the snow. It was not even keeping me that warm. The lake was frozen. But it was so cold no on was ice skating. At the park even the ponds wre frozen. The swings had snow on them. There was no animals to be seen, not even birds. All the light posts had frost on them that if you put your finger on their it would stick. The roads were covered in snow, nobody could drive anywear you had to walk. But not a lot of people did. In side my house the floors were so cold I couldn’t walk on them, only if I had two pairs of socks on. I didn’t even bother going in the garage. It was below zero in their. You couldn’t see out the house because all the windows were covered in frost. The steps up to my house were so slipperly that I almost slipped going down them. The schools were closed because the snow covered the doors that we couldn’t get in.
